Web Radio Broadcasting and the golden age of new audio online

1920S in the forties are remembered as the golden age of radio. Before television, before of the Internet, DVDs and video games, families gathered around a large box in the living room to hear exciting dramas, mysteries of the spine, uproarious comedy cooling and stirring live musical performances. Box offered no pictures to your audience; was theatre of the mind - but what theatre was!

With all the entertainment options available today - great visual part - a person could be forgiven for assuming radio not that never again to be much more than a source of the background music for our cubicles and traffic reports when we we are promoting in our cars.

I have a view of the contrario.Creo we are on the verge of a new golden age of radio, or "audio-tainment" If you want. The main driver of this development is the web radio.

Tonight, for example, I was at the British Broadcasting Corporation Web site. Not only the BBC has a wealth of great audio programs available for free download, also offers direct their multi-channel workflows.

Now, I was already familiar with emissions of BBC News World, first of all of fit them in years ago in a short-wave radio then secondly, audience programs on National Public Radio here at United States. But I always wanted to hear what sounded like "native" programming BBC.Ahora, thanks to the Beeb Internet radio streams, I cannot satisfy this curiosity.

Tonight I decided to listen to the BBC, dedicated to the "intelligent talk," Channel 4 in the words of the Web site.In fact, BBC 4 provides stimulating intellectual without interruptions, talk about religion and ethical reads recent books to programs about current scientific controversies.4. Of the BBC is also, by the way, the home of the famous "Shipping Forecast," a strangely addictive report of weather conditions and sea to the waters around the British Isles.

Web radio makes it possible for me to listen not only 4 BBC, but also the news and entertainment anywhere in the mundo.Me enjoy continuous streams of genres narrowest conceivable music, a form of demand, custom programming does not depend on its existence on an appeal to the broad masses allows.

As technology for both Internet broadcasters and playing streaming audio quickly improves, I think we'll see more and more people are going to their teams to take advantage of rich the Web.Pero radio offerings, engineers driven by the market is going to figure how to convey such offers to people who are not tied to a PC or time when radio Web will really be despegar.Incluso portátil.Es now, you can buy a device that will transmit from your computer to your home stereo system Internet radio streams two rooms away.

The golden age of radio may be dead, but "long live the new golden age of radio on the Web."

Stefan Smith is a drug addict who writes about entertainment and related topics for the Solid Gold Consortium information editors recently, has written an extensive review of the new software that anyone can use to capture streaming audio from Internet radio broadcasts music and splitting into files of individual mp3 songs - a legal way to download music practically libre.Leer review in radio: www.solid-gold.info/radio2mp3.html

What is the best TV international - Al Jazeera, BBC, CNBC, CNN International or global network?

If you are travelling, both domestically and abroad, then you will have a control quite well in the way of life of people in many parts of the world. They also know that it is not very safe drinking water in many countries, and are very aware of how is better than on his best behavior in some places and keep a watchful eye of their belongings and their surroundings.

Now, then, not everyone is well traveled around the world and there is much to see, so many different cultures and countries, and therefore is important to note a little international news and informes.Como a connoisseur of geopolitics and global news often Leo Magazine foreign and any of the other journals from the same shape and size of competitors of publishers, as well as The Economist, Forbes China, Forbes India, and also analysis off knock holders of different countries on all continents.

Once you get a basic knowledge of these countries and places, realizing that there are more than 300 sovereign nations, is fairly easy to keep pace with important changes occurring in these regions; things such as natural disasters, political instability, culture, religious beliefs, economic crisis, growth of the industry and its place in the never-ending saga of human conflict.

Now, then in the electronic age makes sense do online newsletters and updates if you want to stay up on everything that is happening in the mundo.Y what television network 24/7 cable? You can watch Russian TV Al Jazeera, BBC, CNN International around the world, or even CNBC. Interestingly, news in the financial field formats are very similar around the world, and international segments are popular themes and things that can be expected.

The other day somebody recommends that see CNN International, how it could learn something new, and so I went online and many of the clips and videos of what was going on this week.Okay, they were decent, and usually what you would expect. Its coverage of the accident in the India was good and well thought out, as well as the segments to the riots in Tailandia.Y is interesting to see Hillary Clinton Secretary of State of the United States and its coverage of his visit to China and southern Korea.

In fact, I guess my only problem with CNN is; where Ted Turner "early to bed, early to rise, work as hell and announce" return brainwashing the global masses with propaganda, promote the chaos and the controversy and destabilize society and civilization? Not Al Jazeera is better, especially for someone who lives in the United States as much of its secure content does not display the United States in a good light.

The BBC can be real persnickety when it comes to the United States once, and if it wasn't for international business news sticking to America, I guess that all international news would be something that a proud American, certainly do not want to or careful watching.I guess that it could give CNN International a "B" and CNBC world to "B +" and a "B-" BBC and Al Jazeera a "C-" General for television coverage internacional.Por please consider all this.

Clueless policy

It is never good when another country called its financial policy disoriented. It is particularly bad if that other country is one of the major world economies, and also happens to be right.

"With all due respect, disoriented United States is policy," said recently, the Minister of finance German Wolfgang Schaeuble referring to the Federal Reserve's decision to pull $ 600 million in our stagnant economy.(1)

The Fed can create so much money as you like, but the US economy is currently unable to productively to put that money to work.Through the establishment of near-zero interest rates, the Fed has established that money in this country has no real.Le value we give to the banks to nothing, and banks lend to the Treasury of the United States torn deficit for almost nothing. The result is a benefit granted to banks, but no incentive to provide money for creative entrepreneurs or expanding enterprises.

Intervention of the Federal Reserve $ 600 million will be more efficient this stupidity for the Court to the intermediarios. No there will be no need for banks buy Treasury values for the next eight months.Plans of the Federal Reserve to buy, by itself, almost as much debt as Treasury plans to sell at that session. Banks will be just sit there useless, not be has able to attract deposits with rates near zero (negative rates for many depositors,) when considering the rates and willing to risk to make loans to companies in a weak economy while regulators are concerned about the financial soundness of banks.

The idea behind banking is capitalized, strong institutions that can attract a reasonable interest rate deposits and still make a profit by lending money to superior, yet reasonable rates to borrowers solventes.Es depositor a great sistema.Deberíamos to prove it.

Instead, let's flood in developing nations that offer the best potential returns of investment, with cheap dollars. The South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan warned that "developing countries including South Africa, are the worst part of the decision to open its doors flood without due consideration of the consequences of other Nations."(2) These consequences include asset bubbles, inflation and the painful currency turns.

Governor of Brazil Central Bank, Henrique Meirelles, told reporters that "excess liquidity in the United States is already creating problems in other countries."Brazil currency, the real has increased 39 percent compared to the dollar since the beginning of 2009, interfering with the country's export market.

The Group of 20 Summit in South Korea this week gave President Obama chance to defend United States policy, but is not an easy single defender.El policy really convincing argument that he could offer is that by 2012 this country could choose more responsible officials and get itself back on track. It is no wonder that the message was not the President wanted entregar.En instead, planned to concentrate on drums support to move bad policy: current account surplus and deficits at 4 per cent of gross domestic product of capping.

This proposal, first Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, last month has allowed the Chinese themselves cast as players wise and responsible while brazenly manipulating its currency in order to keep it attached to the exterior the Cui Tiankai Unidos.China States dollar Vice Minister said at a news briefing "course, hope to see more balanced current accounts."But we believe that it would not be a good approach to bring this matter and to focus all over it."The artificial creation of a numerical target cannot but remind us of the days of planned economies".

The proposal to close the imbalances account simply underscores the fact that the United States not has able to bring you buy abroad in any kind of reasonable relationship for what it is able to sell in the extranjero.En place of actually working to achieve this balance through the internal policy, we want to impose the financial discipline that we lack in the rest of the world.

United States is the hub of the global economy. We buy more stuff than anyone else, we do more things than anyone else and produce currency that everyone else is used as a direct or indirect reference. If the United States is unable to adopt responsible financial policies, the rest of the world will have to break ties or the risk of being torn down as recipients of the American economy.

The world is losing confidence in our common sense financial. only this week, Dagong China credit-rating agency cut its rating on the AA US government debt to +.If Obama cannot resolve problems of this country in forums such as the G-20 Summit, foreigners will have little choice but do what you can to mitigate the impact that might have our mismanagement in their countries.

The first thing that other countries will have to do to isolate themselves from economic policy U.S. failing is to stop lending money to a country that thinks you can shake prosperity by creating gobs of money in cash of the nada.Como mature bonuses, we will be unable to refinance them through the issuance of new paper to foreign buyers.

The Fed has sworn not to "monetize" debt through the purchase of bonds that cash can only be sold in other places, but will have to do exactly that to avoid predeterminado.El dollar are likely zambullen.Es that soar commodity prices and inflation in the United States.Other countries will begin to demand that we pay for their products using currencies which still have valor.Todavía will be able to get oil from the Middle East and Italian leather shoes, but only when we can scrape together the EUR, yuan or Swiss francs which the market will require payment.

The end result will be much worse than just live a recession. and this future recession, the Government may not request borrow money to provide benefits of prolonged unemployment or other relief programmes.

Schaeuble was exactly right when he called the American financial policy "clueless".the fact that the rest of the world is beginning to see this is, in fact, a track of what is ahead for América.Aquí is another clue: It won't be pretty.

City of Mexico sees its first gay civil unions

When two men middle-aged tied the knot on March 16, became the first gay couple legally recognized in the city of Mexico, the capital of the world's largest Catholic country.
When Mexican gays unite

Journalist Antonio Medina, 38 and economist George Cerpa, 31, registered the homosexual partnership shortly before new city allowing homosexual civil unions law entered into force, according to the Associated Press.

Mexicans joined in front of buildings of the Government, kisses under a banner which read "Civil Union law: their right to choose" while a band played "Kelvin Mucho".

"With this law, a history of exclusion comes to an end," Medina said that the new "today, the love that before not dare said his name has now entered in the public spotlight."

Last November, the city of Mexico passed a Bill to allow gays and lesbians to form an Association for the protection of property, pensions and the rights of herencia.Pero leaves below the granting of all legal statues and rights of marriage.

Activists have promoted civil unions gay for 7 years before the municipal Assembly recognized legal statues homosexual couples, reported BBC.

It is simply fantastic,"said Julio Roman, an activist for gay rights in the city of Mexico."It is more symbolic. is the result of years of struggle for our basic rights".

Long road ahead

But not all are contentos.Los officials of the Church and Christians apparently took to the streets to express their objections.

"Is simply not the will of God that acts of homosexuality," Armando Martinez Gomez, President of the Association of Catholic lawyers told BBC News.

"" We are not against homosexuals,"noted."But we believe in a Union between a man and a woman for the creation of the children.

Church officials have also called new "Hitleria" policy and politics of the city without faith, told Reuters.

City of Mexico is not the first to take more liberal attitudes towards gay people in America the Argentina Latina.Capital Buenos Aires, North of the Mexican State of Coahuila and Brazil South of the State of Rio Grande do Sul all have legalized same-sex unions.

But the public continues to be intolerant of legal rights in Mexico, where around 90 per cent of its 107 million inhabitants are Catholic propagandists homosexual couples.

Only 28% of adults support laws that grant a homosexual couple legal statues and some benefits and rights, according to a survey conducted by Parametría.

In 2005, every two days in Latin America a gay man was murdered due to their sexuality, reported Belgium NGO-based International Association of Lesbian and gays.

Countries as Brazil and Mexico have the highest levels of hate crimes because homosexuals are converted to an easy when coming from the closet, White said the Economist.

The war in Iraq and how Global Trashed America Media

In fact, most of us know that media gets story wrong all the time most, and global media so just say what they want. Al Jazeera always puts an anti-Israeli twist or anti-USA in things. The BBC, CNN and other sellers of global news, also try to get feed your audience what they want, stating that it is the truth, and Yes, the stories could be bathed in some truth with a twist or not, depends on the story.

Not long ago an acquaintance and the length of time that anti-war activists was explaining to me that the plan for Iraq was that "Saddam, destroy weapons of mass destruction and leaving, but the long and bloody slog, five-year war with almost 5,000 deaths, is what happened!" and once the war began, "destroy weapons of mass destruction of ourselves and capture or kill Saddam and then get out of Dodge!"

"Long Bloody Slog" I do not we are getting graphic and indebtedness very old phrases from past wars?Name another war that lasted 5 years and cost only 5,000 liberating side soldiers? Y while left and trashed media our nation along with John Kerry, the assault on Baghdad was unhappy by the military of unfortunately, as we have seen looted museums and pronounce the chaos. Of course, is the war.

But you must understand that the Russians also participated, analysing the situation and military advice to Saddam.Saddam told that United States never go Bagdad.Y CNN also hurt things by some of its coverage as well, the intoxication of support for the war with the American people. A lot of things happened in a very short period of time and it is not fair in retrospect now to judge all that;especially based on the media.

Needless to say, many activists against not helped the situation of our nation to achieve that Saddam fold his cards. It's almost as if anti-war activists actually caused the problem now is quejan.Seguí each event unique in that war and was heard all intelligence sources around the world at the moment.

How the media portrays what happened and why we were in Baghdad, and how we went to Baghdad and what happened afterwards after is not necessarily what happened realmente.Además, my brother was in the Marines of the United States, body and simply what we saw on CNN wasn't; was there and I could not believe what was allegedly.?

Edward Victor and Sarah Smith interview award-winning CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera journalist, Afshin Rattansi, about newsgathering and his novel, "The Dream of the Decade - The London Novels" published by Booksurge and available on Amazon.com.

Edward Victor: Afshin Rattansi, your new book looks at -among other things- the way news is made in newsrooms. Given that you have worked at three top networks, the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera, do you think there has been any change since you wrote your book?

Afshin Rattansi: A character in the third novel of the quartet reappears to work at a large media organization around the time of the war on Yugoslavia. That war was covered in an extraordinary way and was widely criticised afterwards. After all, reporting on hundreds of thousands of people dying in the heart of Europe is what journalism textbooks after World War II were written for and yet, anyone using TV news to find out what happened in Sarajevo would have been confused at best. It was only after the war that some excellent programmes were made.

"The Dream of the Decade" deals with unwitting bias or unwitting lack of balance. Every story was nuanced by the life experiences of the kind of people that get the jobs in newsrooms. Though the book deals with coverage of stories on the environment, healthcare and many other issues, the in-built bias of journalists reaches its apotheosis with regard to war reporting. Whether it be the wars on Latin American states in the 1980s or the war on Yugoslavia in the 1990s, it's remarkable how hard it is for a viewer to hear a spectrum of views on any war.

Edward Victor: You also started the developing world's first English language 24 hour satellite TV news and current affairs network, based in the Middle East. As the man in charge, did you use your experience to produce news differently?

Afshin Rattansi: I hope so. Though I was the editor of the channel, there were the constraints any manager would have on the way we broadcast news. Most recently, at the BBC, one realised the constraints on a very well established network when reporting the run-up to the war on Iraq. At the Dubai Channel, we came from a developing world perspective and concentrated on the financial background. "Follow the money" was the watchword when we covered, say the Ethiopia-Eritrea war or the privatisation of natural resource management demanded by the IMF. I always thought it was interesting that Business Week outsold The Economist and that Business Week magazine was often the best source for really getting a balanced view of a story. Everything from the most local - for example, food resources or crime prevention - to the most global - say, Kyoto, the drug trade or nuclear arms - usually has private profit at the heart of it.

Whether it be Hollywood or the matter of Palestine, following the money is a pretty good way for journalists to cover a story...and being very wary of Microsoft's "copy and paste" functions when allied to Reuters and AP wire stories. Reuters, after all, is mainly a financial services company and though it has excellent journalists, their "daily wraps" of the main stories of the day will not be those that most concern ordinary people, certainly not the greatest proportion of humanity or the greatest audience.

Sarah Smith: Al Jazeera is launching an English language station. The expert on Al Jazeera, Hugh Miles, wrote about (in Al Jazeera : How Arab TV News Challenges America) how the Arabic language station hired you -as an award-winning journalist- once the channel became more successful and wanted to raise its profile. Will you be working for the English language station?

Afshin Rattansi: I certainly haven't been approached. And whilst I think it has the potential to be something great - even building on the work that developing world international stations have been making since the Dubai Channel - I'm as yet unsure of the direction the channel is taking. They've taken on some excellent personnel. I think what will be critical - not only for sound editorial reasons - will be whether they can carve a niche that separates them from industry leaders such as CNN, the BBC and Fox. There are a lot of free-to-air international TV stations, now. But Al Jazeera Arabic was different because its perspective was shared by a swathe of people from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean that just wasn't compatible with the big corporate names in news.

Sarah Smith: But why have you not wanted to be part of such an exciting project - given your published work on managing start-up TV stations, getting cable access, writing remits and so forth? You were, after all, the first ever English-language recruit to Al Jazeera.

Afshin Rattansi: So far, I've already been told that there is no place for me on the network so, obviously, they've missed something very important in the start-up of the new channel! But, more seriously, it has to be said that within the industry, there are some great journalists who, I would have thought, would have been ideal recruits. International TV station start-ups are always complex and perhaps management of the new station has a long range plan that involves more commercial BBC-style news at the beginning to gain market access. My first boss at the BBC, Paul Gibbs, is one of the directors of the new channel so I know that they have some heavyweights when it comes to knowing the industry. He will be commissioning programmes and at the BBC Business Unit was known for innovative strands of programming.

Sarah Smith: The channel has hired some journalists very much from the neoliberal right. David Frost who is a friend of Israel even checked with the U.S. and UK governments before he would take on a job at the station. Their head of news, Steve Clark, produced extremely right wing programmes that were pro-Israeli. Do you have any fears about the channel?

Afshin Rattansi: As I said, start-ups are always quite fraught. And one must remember that there are a lot of people who are willing the failure of Al Jazeera International. I know Steve and he seemed relatively sane! I certainly don't think it can be said - as some are alleging - that the English language station has been hijacked by the CIA or something, as some are having it.

As to the more disturbing bits of news we get about the start-up of the English language Al Jazeera channel, I think we should wait and see. Frost is a big name and TV stations do need stars. With all the money being thrown at the new channel, let's hope that they are getting the really top notch producers and reporters and not those who are merely the dregs of big, corporate news broadcasting, looking for a tax-free salary and a bit of sun!

Edward Victor: The book that concerns TV news in "The Dream of the Decade" has been compared to Evelyn Waugh's "Scoop". Should it be read as a satire or did any of the things in the book actually happen.

Afshin Rattansi: Of all the books in the quartet, perhaps that one, "Good Morning, Britain" is the most autobiographical. Alas, some of the crazier things regarding the naivety of reporters are basically true. I certainly remember a very posh reporter who was unaware of public healthcare and when he went to cover a story about hospitals went to the only hospital he knew - a very expensive private one - so that the whole report became an advert for how wonderful medical care was in the UK. I've also met my fair share of war correspondents who delight in the perceived Hemmingway persona, obscuring the issues of geopolitical power in any theatre of war.

Sarah Smith: What broadcast news services do you think are good and how can journalism in general get better?

Afshin Rattansi: I think there are some gold standards at the moment. One of them is BBC World Service radio which whilst showing little in the way of innovation and often obscuring power-lines, still manages to feel truly global. Obviously, CNN when my little brother

is anchoring is also excellent! I have to admit that Fox News, which is doing well in the ratings, at least puts its heart on its sleeve - tacitly admitting it has an angle. It is much more frightening to watch news which suggests that it is unbiased when it is.

Ultimately, it will be up to the kind of people employed in journalism. At the BBC Today programme - shortly before the editor was fired - there were the beginnings of a recruitment process that was genuinely based on grouping people from different backgrounds to be in the newsroom. In Dubai, there were journalists from every country East and South of Algiers. But it's not just ethnic diversity, it's class diversity. You wouldn't find many frontline journalists at the BBC from London's Peckham area, nor at CNN from Dixie Hills.

Ironically, the ratings on programmes which employed them would do well as so little on TV reflects the aspirations and concerns of the majority. However, I don't think advertisers are that interested in those with low disposable incomes. And, in the UK, which has weathered the dumbing down of international TV better than most places, executives at government-funded stations feel the need - for complex reasons - to compete with commercial content.

Extemporaneous language and keep informed

After the success of any competitor is a regiment of formation, hard work and dedication. Each competitor has its secrets for achievement. Forensic analysis is no different. If you were to ask any speaker to participate was the only thing that could be recommended to do well in competition, a majority would say to keep informed. Main task one speaker to participate, one anyway, is to keep abreast of world and national news. Two principles to keep the existing ones are:

* Preparing--> saves time. Extemporaneous speaking topics are chosen from news events ranging from severe (economic problems) to the ridiculous (gossip). The more you know for current affairs walk a more likely round will be given a matter of familiarity. As most files Extempers new reports in their bathtub on a regular, if you know of a potential event basis are has some articles located inside the box, ready to be cited. This level of preparation save time pulling quote, make an outline articles and with the general organization of their pensamientos.Cuanto longer saved to assemble a speech, more time that can pass in his work of polishing.

* Preparing--> greater confidence. Direct effect of previous time savings can lead directly to higher levels of confidence in their round.People who feel safe and relaxed about a project tend to reflect in your presentation. knowing his speech, know your subject and know that they could meet the best Extemporaneous piece possible. And confidence is a key ingredient to a good presentation and therefore the potential for a good range.

* Where to look? Participate in their quest for knowledge there are an infinite number of sources to draw from. Some are listed below:

1. Newspapers, magazines and online. Read the newspaper (preferably from a credible source such as the Tribune). Get a magazine subscription. Cutting and cataloguing of articles from major and reliable sources are a good way to build your Extemp box. Also, go online and retirada.Internet news websites opens a lot of information in newspapers and magazines can not offer. In addition, the impression is relatively cheap! Some speakers participate tend to choose resources include: time, The Economist, global United States and report news, Newsweek, Tribune, Washington Post, CNN, BBC BBC America and science news. Some Extempers even collect a tabloid celebrity before competition in the small chance that item will be the celebrity based.

2 Television. Although you should read their news (more information is available and you can print / clip articles for submission), if you look at your news to get an idea of what is still happening is helping yourself.Keep up with news at main stations worldwide and local night.Explore CNN as well.In addition, the BBC offers news for everyone and is very respected by what adjustment on BBC America, if available, is aconseja.Si isn't mood for serious news due to all the knowledge that has been read, watching comedy shows like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report is perfectly acceptable (what hey, you will learn and laugh so why not?).

Keep up to date with current affairs is crucial to the success of the lengua.Saber participate what is happening is kept is prepared for issues most started his way, which will help increase your confidence and lead to a better presentation. stay up to date also can be an easy process if you know where buscar.Incluso if you do not have a great team and cannot split the work of research, simply pick up a few resources to follow can become a one-man Extemp team a well researched machine.

Online news providers

Online news providers refer to the news that are transmitted and informed through the use of Internet Web sites. Help make it easier for people to get the latest news and information with one click of the mouse away. Online news providers can be classified into three categories according to countries based on the design of their websites.

The first category is American online news providers. There are many providers of news online in this category, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, The Onion, Fox News, Los Angeles Times to name a few. Beginning with the color in the design of these Web sites, the colors used seem to reflect the national flag of the United States, in red, blue and white colors. The size of its fonts in Word are average; size 12 and are easy to read.

The format of its design are not standardized according to which the Word content is everywhere and disorganized. In terms of spacing, lines are not too close to each other. On top of that, have many columns that are not alineadas.Sin embargo, these websites loaded fairly quickly, and are easy to navigate. Logos and trademarks on these websites all seem to have a classic look similar.

The second category is British e.g., BBC, Daily Express and the Independent online news providers. These British have lighter and brighter for distribution as opposed to the United States, which use a combination of colours such as red, turquoise, yellow, and black colors. The fonts used are mostly Arial and Times New Roman size 12. In its format, have many columns and thumbnails. Also have a lot of headlines in a single column, also have search bars also there are many ads on both sides of the border of the page. PART 1: Another Gospel?

The influence of the occult upon our everyday lives is staggering. An African missionary from the Mandinka tribe of West Africa, once asked a congregation a question similar to that asked by the Apostle Paul of the Galatians. His 11-minute message, spoken in the mid-90's, I can still recall, as he shouted the question: "You foolish Americans... who has bewitched you?!"

The basis of his message was that, right here in the good ol' U.S. of A., everywhere he looked, he could detect an occult influence. Whether it was through the media, commercials, from the "alternative religions," even from the puplits of well-meaning Christian ministers, what this man was detecting was something OTHER than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Crystals, guided imagery, healing meditation, Christian Science, Kabbalah, Mormonism...why has "Christian America" so eagerly accepted these ideas that, at their root, are so contrary to that which would be considered orthodox? Why are so many things OTHER than biblical concepts being sought out to meet the needs of those who claim to be Christians?

In 2 Corinthians, 11th chapter, the Apostle warned that some would come preaching "another Jesus" and "a different gospel." He wrote, "...as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." There are three types of doctrine spoken of within the New Testament: the doctrine of man, the doctrine of devils and the doctrine of Christ (and of God). Personally, I contend that Bible illiteracy is the basis for this continual weakening of Orthodox Christianity. One example of this can be found in the number of Southern Baptists who are joining the Mormon Church. According to the Arizona Latter-day Sentinel, April 2, 1988, "...an average of 282 members of their church join the LDS church each week. Coincidentally, the (sic) average Southern Baptist congregation has 283 members, which means the Baptists lose 52 congregations each year to the Mormons.

Though a group may mention the name 'Jesus' and season their conversation with spiritual-sounding, familiar Christianese, not all that glitters is gold. For example, those who worship The Sacred Mushroom (No, I'm NOT kidding) refer to a mushroom as 'Jesus' so, based upon Romans 10:9-10 (...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.) they consider themselves to be "saved." Some actually believe this and have placed their faith in a fungus.

We must ask ourselves just WHO this Jesus is whenever that Name is spoken. Is he Lucifer's brother? The archangel Michael? An Ascended master? A mere prophet? A fungus? Or is the 'Jesus' to whom they refer the Lord of all Creation that He claimed to be? You see Jesus of Nazareth was either a liar, a lunatic, or truly Lord of all... the way WE must see Him as well.

PART 2: The FARCE is with us!

After the first Star Wars movie, Christian bumper stickers came out stating that the "Force" was with us. Thinking the Star Wars movie was a Christian allegory, many assumed this "Force" being referred to in the film was the Holy Spirit. Of course, as we all know, the Holy Spirit is NOT a force, but the third Person of the triune God that we worship.

Right?

Not according to a 2001 survey by the Barna Group which stated that 61% of Americans believed the Holy Spirit to be a mere symbol of God's presence rather than a living entity. Scripture clearly reveals that the Holy Spirit has a purpose - to empower those who trust in Christ for the advancing of His Kingdom - as well as personal character traits. Yet, I marvel at how many Christians, ministers included, refer to Him merely as "it" - IF they acknowledge Him at all. Just as amazing, 60% of adults believe Satan is merely a symbol of evil. Yet, 81% of us believe angels exist and influence people's lives.

What is most startling about the Star Wars phenomenon is not the advent of yet another movie, but the real ways in which people around the world appear to be forming a religion out of the thing. The Anglican Digest reported that the first school to teach Jedi - named for the Jedi Knights from the series - was recently opened in Romania. Courses at the Star Wars Academy include the correct use of light saber swords, and lessons on how to speak Wookiee.

The BBC reported (2002) that at least 70,000 people in Australia wrote-in "Jedi" as their response under the category of religion on the last census form. Hard-core fans of the films have been trying to have Jedi declared an official religion around the English-speaking world for years now.

The same situation occurred in New Zealand in their census of 2001. Similarly, more than 390,000 people in England declared themselves Jedi in their census of the same year - a shocking number when you consider that only 260,000 people in England declared themselves to be Jewish! There are various Internet campaigns going on now that encourage voters in the U.S. to petition for Jedi as an official religion on the next U.S. census form.

Star Wars creator, George Lucas, once said: "I put the Force into the movie in order to try to awaken a certain kind of spirituality in young people -- more a belief in God than a belief in any particular religious system. I wanted to make it so that young people would begin to ask questions about the mystery."

Well, it backfired, George. In a Time magazine interview, Lucas downplayed any religious implications about his series, but then went on to admit to using "the Force" as a representation of God and the Dark Side warrior, Darth Vader, as a metaphor for the evil that exists inside us all. How different is that from saying all humans are born in sin and need the help of "God" to save them? Sounds pretty religious, does it not?

Sadly, very few proponents of this Jedi faith have noticed that their new "religion" is very elitist and only a very few of the Star Wars characters are permitted to attain any benefit from the Force, that being only those referred to in the series as Jedi Knights. Far from being literally a 'life-force' that can be harnessed by the underclasses and oppressed, it can only be used by a chosen few High Priests.

The Holy Spirit is so-entitled for one very specific, obvious reason: to distinguish Him from EVIL spirits, deceiving devils that are constantly at work in our midst, killing, stealing and destroying even those who call themselves 'Christian.' The Holy Spirit empowers us. He convicts us of sin AND of our righteousness. He comforts, exhorts, edifies and confirms. He is a constant Teacher and reminds us of all that Jesus taught (so read what Jesus taught). He's the exact SAME Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead and He desires to take up residence in anyone who believes that Jesus is who He said He is.

Jesus sent Him. So, He's obviously all well ever need! He's no mere force, but where Satan and his minions are concerned, He will make YOU a force to be reckoned with.

PART 3: The Kabbalah Kraze

The latest trendy religion is the Kabbalah. Pop singer Madonna has reportedly donated tens of millions to the cause. Other famous followers include comedian Roseann Barr, actress Demi Moore and many others. In today's occult revolution where every dimension of the occult is being explored, there has been a revived interest in Kabbalah among both Jew and Gentile.

Although its Jewish origin makes it unique, Kabbalah is still essentially an occultic practice, and is thus incompatible with the Judeo-Christian faiths. Its Pantheistic theology teaches that all reality springs directly from God's own essence. Even if one believes that these "emanations" from God's essence have "gone through a descent of ten spheres on four different levels" - whatever THAT means - the conclusion is inescapable that even he who is on the lowest level is still of one essence with God; and thus, ultimately, that individual IS God. This is a concept that is incompatible with the Biblical concept God, who created the world out of nothing, NOT out of Himself. In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew word for "create" is "bara," referring to something coming out of nothing. This verse debunks Pantheism, the belief that God is IN the creation and IS the creation. God is not the tree, the rock, the building or the air. Yet, Pantheism holds that God permeates everything, and, therefore, IS all.

Pantheism is not unique to the practitioners of Kabbalah. I once debated a believer in Pantheism and asked him if God was in those bird droppings on the rock wall before us. I believe I heard his mental wheels come to a screeching halt for a moment. "Come now," I said, urging him not to check his brain at the door, "your beliefs are either absolutely true in all instances or they aren't true at all." Incidentally, he was a member of a local mainline Christian denomination. Pantheism is being embraced by many Christians. The concept is, basically, that only the spiritual dimension exists. Some Pantheistic religions include Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism. Pantheism also forms the basis for Transcendental Meditation and some aspects of New Age mysticism.

This should not be confused with the concept of God's omnipresence. God IS omnipresent. He's everywhere at once. David said, "...if I ascend up into heaven, thou (God) art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there," (Psalm 139:8). But God is NOT the created world. In fact, He is completely EXTERNAL to the created world. Worship belongs to the Creator, not His creation. Paul tells us in Romans 1:25 that there will be those "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator...."

God is related to the world as a sculptor is related to his sculpture, or I am related to this message on my computer screen right now. The sculptor is not the sculpture. The writer is not the writing. The sculpture and the writing are productions. They are produced by the one that creates, and what one creates, can be created again. Perhaps it will be different or it may be better.

God created everything just by speaking it into existence. It was not difficult. He's God, you know. "Let there be light and there was light" (Genesis 1:3). Poof! "Let the waters bring forth and they brought forth, Let the earth bring forth and it brought forth" (Genesis 1:20,24). Poof! God was not put to a test to make the universe. Some say, "Mankind was a more difficult product!" God formed Adam out of the dust of the ground; we must not have been TOO tough. Like a mud pie maybe. Poof! He took a rib from Adam's side, spoke a word, and turned it into a woman. Poof! That was not hard for God. This whole creation was not such a magnificent production where God was concerned. To us, it is absolutely unfathomable. With just a little word, it all came to be, or at least, got started. It was really easy for the Creator. Genesis1:31declares that in six days - even if a day is as a thousand years in God's economy - it all came to be, simply through His spoken words.

Imagine having that kind of an all-powerful Creator God handling our measely, temporal problems! He WANTS to handle our lives in this same way, but we must GIVE them to Him.

PART 4: If it's broken, let's fix it

North America is the only continent on earth where the Church is not growing, despite a 2002 Barna survey revealing that 85% of us self-identify as Christians. The exodus from American churches has reached biblical proportions. People are leaving organized churches at a rate of 53,000 a week in Europe and North America combined (the U.S. lost 57,500 in the entire Vietnam War, to put that number in perspective). As a whole, Christians lose 7,600 a day to other religions or irreligion.

According to the North American Mission Board (NAMB), the need for new churches is greater than it's ever been as evidenced by the church-to-population ratios over the last century. For example, in 1900, there were 27 churches, of multiple denominations, per 10,000 people. Today there are 12 churches per 10,000 people. Meanwhile eight churches close their doors permanently every day; nearly 3,000 annually.

The mind boggles regarding the latest in American Church statistics. For example, the number of ministers who no longer believe in the infallibility of Scripture is startling: 85% of the Presbyterian USA pastors said NO; 85% of the Methodist pastors said NO; 85% of the Episcopal pastors said NO; 55% of the Baptist pastors said NO; 45% of the Catholic priests said NO. (Source: Warner A. Bonner, LeadershipJournal.net)

A whopping 42% of Americans believe Jesus committed sins. Whereas Jesus directed us to "go and make disciples," only16% of American Christians are involved in a discipleship process of regularly meeting with a group or individual for spiritual growth. The Internet is the only mass medium whose audience share has grown during the past decade (I can attest as this ministry's e-Mail outreach grows annually). The proportion of the population using the Internet as a spiritual resource has increased by two-thirds since 1998. According to the Barna Group, "Our studies continue to show that people are using the Christian media to provide elements of ministry that are not adequately provided to them by their local church." He explained, "For some people, these media complement their church experience. For others, a combination of these media forms a significant portion of their faith experience...."

Church leaders should start strategizing right about now!

Yes, the times they are a-changin'. The Church must wisely adapt and reach the masses where they are, but we must cautiously filter everything we read and hear through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Remember the wise counsel of Paul: "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ," Colossians 2:8. Sadly, much of this modern-day spiritual smorgasbord, including the New Millenium's hybrid faiths - though they may well be signs of the apostasy of the end times - are really anything less than the unpaid invoices of the Church at large.

Immigration war with America

America has the strongest and most high tech military the world has ever seen. There is no current military threat religious or otherwise in the entire world that is able to match it. As a result, the United States faces a different kind of war which has been waged at it's borders for many years now and it's called; "Massive Illegal Immigration". Listen to what the troops are saying who are in favor of massive illegal immigration...

In LA on April 8, 2007, Carrying signs saying "Amnesty Now!" and "Love Thy Neighbor, Don't Deport Him," about 15,000 people danced to Mexican ranchera music, chanted "Si, se puede!" or "It can be done!"

In Denver, Colorado, protesters waved Mexican flags and brandished signs saying: "Uncle Sam Stole Our Land!" and: "If you think I'm illegal because I'm a Mexican, learn the true history, because I'm in my homeland."

"Today we march, tomorrow we vote"

In Dallas, Texas, on April 9, 2006 half a million people marched, again waving Mexican flags with "Our Lady of Guadalupe" (an immensely popular "apparition" of the "Virgin Mary" in Mexico).

The Main Force Behind Massive Illegal Immigration

"Prayer books and guides to social and religious services should be provided along the way and at the points of arrival. The migrants should be reminded of their role as evangelizers". U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops

There has been little dispute about the vast majority of illegals being Roman Catholics coming from Mexico and other Latin countries. There has been however, various theories on the main force behind the massive illegal immigration army which is constantly crossing the US border. Talk show hosts in mainstream conservatism and liberalism on various media outlets say its merely poverty that drives them across. While others say illegals want to make money so they can go back to their own country and retire the rest of their lives while living a rich life. However, and this is not something you will hear on Fox News or CNN, or in the mainstream in general, but the Vatican has for years been the main force behind the invasion. Yes, the Vatican! Why? Like the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops have declared the role of the illegals is be "evangelizers". Not only that, but it's main focus is to basically populate America with more Catholics. A Roman Catholic priest, Paul Marx, back in 1987, was pretty clear and open about the Vatican's role in supporting and encouraging illegal mass immigration of Latin Americans into the United States he states:

"America is a dying nation. I tell the Mexicans when I am down in Mexico to keep on having children, and then to take back what we took from them: California, Texas, Arizona, and then to take the rest of the country [the United States] as well."

Also the late pope, John Paul II stated...

"They [immigrants] often bring with them a cultural and religious heritage which is rich in Christian [read "Roman Catholic'] elements. The Church... is committed to spare no effort in developing her own pastoral strategy among these immigrant people, in order to help them settle in their new land and to foster a welcoming attitude among the local population"

There was a study released in June by the California Catholic Conference, and entitled "Planning for the Future of the California Catholic Church. In that study contained interesting stats. By 2025, Roman Catholics are expected to comprise about 36% of California's population, compared to about 30 percent now. In 2005, 11.1 million of California's 36.6 million were Roman Catholics. By 2025, it is expected that 16.7 million of California's expected 45.9 million people will be Roman Catholics. This is an increase of 5.6 million Roman Catholics. Of these, 3.5 million will be the result of new births, and 2.1 million will be new immigrants. "Church" membership will grow by 129%.

The Latino portion of the increased population of California in the period 1990-2005 was 79% of all new Californian residents. Between 2005 and 2025 it is expected to amount to 81% of new residents.

By 2025, 4.3 million new Roman Catholic baptisms would have occurred, over 3.1 million children will receive their "first communion" in the Roman Catholic institution, and the average parish will have expanded by over 1800 families.

"They [the immigrants]... come with the values that are so needed in the United States today.... This is a special moment in the history of the Catholic Church and the history of migration".

Roman Catholic cardinal, Theodore McCarrick, of Washington, D.C.

The Vatican Using "Forgiveness" to promote illegal immigration

A local radio host in my local area who is a devote Catholic and has conservative political viewpoints informs the listening audience that he gets slightly annoyed by visiting Priests or his local Priest in general when political issues are brought up. He just doesn't like politics mixed in with preaching he said. Mainly because he disagrees what the Priests are saying politically not doctrinally. Cast in point, a visiting Priest in a loud voice told Roman Catholics they must forgive illegal immigrants, sex abusers, and so on. Since we are focusing in on massive illegal immigration, we will leave the sex abuse scandals for another time. But in the eyes of this Priest who was at odds with this devote Catholic radio talk show host, forgiveness of illegal immigrants is allowing them to cross the US border at will which is in line with the Vatican. And it's not only him, but other Priests around the country are using "forgiveness" in the wrong sense to promote massive illegal immigration.

Mexico and The Vatican

Without question, there is also a push for expansion of Mexico which suites the Vatican just fine because Mexico has been mainly Roman Catholic for many hundreds of years.

"This is our land, and our continent, this is not property of the Europeans or their descendants. Not one inch of this continent belongs to Europeans, no matter what lies or distortions of ownership they may present.... Remember that we have only temporarily (and illegally) been deprived of the rights to our continent and our heritage. This occupation of our continent is not a permanent condition."Olin Tezcatilpoca

It's not shocking to know that almost 60 percent of Mexicans believe they should be able to cross into the United States whenever they please. A woman on one of the most popular programs on the Fox News cable network was asked by the host, "Do you believe in the United States having the right to control it's own borders". She replied, "Back in the 1600's people were free to travel anywhere in the United States". The host looked puzzled for a moment and said with a stern voice, "I'm not asking you what happened in the past before America became a country, I mean now the present. I'm asking you again if you believe that the United States has a right to control it's own border". She then finally responded, "Yes of course, I believe the United States has that right to control their own border". If you look closely to what she said, she indeed does not believe in the United States controlling it's own border. For how can one believe that a country can control it's own border but yet believe that people have the right to travel into another country as they please.

Elvira Arellano an illegal immigrant activist who was on a mission to try and change what she and others have called; "a broken immigration policy" in the United States. She was originally caught using fraudulent credentials and deported back to Mexico only to cross the borders again illegally. In 2002, she went to a Methodist 'church' building in Chicago to seek a safe haven in order to block attempts in sending her back to Mexico once again. She tried having a kid and using the kid's health in order to argue she has to stay in the US. Finally it was revealed she was captured in August 2007, and sent back to Mexico while choosing to leave her son behind even though she could have taken him with her. The debate over massive illegal immigration began to take hold again nationally as tv and radio talk shows were talking about Miss Arellano's situation.

Before I conclude this part on Mexico and the Vatican, the issue of how the US treats illegal immigrants with their US born kids came up after the Elvira Arellano situation...When it comes to illegal immigrants filtering into Mexico from other countries, the Mexican government requires them to pay a fee in order to cross their borders into the United States. Often times the illegals who cross into Mexico are treated very badly and spit upon by Mexican authorities or Mexican civilians.

Other Forces Behind Massive Illegal Immigration

While discussing the main force behind the push for massive illegal immigration. We cannot forget about the Communists and Socialists who are also a major force behind illegal immigration. Since 9/11 and even before then, we can also include terrorist support for illegal immigration. When it comes to pushing illegal immigration, socialists love the concept and practice especially from third world countries because it enhances their power as these illegal immigrates being poor they require such needs from the government like free education, free health care, and so on.

The (Communist) Workers World Party, and the International Socialist Organization, brought printed placards and signs to the demonstration, and handed out copies of their newspapers in Spanish and English. Socialist literature was displayed on tables. The Workers World Party distributed placards with pictures of Che Guevara. They also carried placards with the words: "Workers' Struggles Have No Borders!" True Communist propaganda: that nation-states are irrelevant, that borders should come down. Shaun Willcock

(A Christian Pastor who runs Bible Based Ministries)

What about big business or businesses in general? Many would ask and argue over as the main force behind illegal immigration...Indeed this is another force behind illegal immigration, no doubt about it but it's not the main force. Many businesses who hired illegals for cheap labor has seen their profits increased more than with legal citizens. Many countries like China who have become an industrial powerhouse and take advantage of their cheap labor in their own country have made it difficult for America companies to compete for business. Thus, the illegals become more profitable for these America companies to hire. In some cases profit doesn't matter at all, we find some rich people hiring illegals to be nannies, cooks, maids, and so on even though they can afford legal citizens to do the job.

On September 11, 2001 is when the world saw illegals for the first time attack the America in a massive way as many innocent people were killed in the name of the Islamic religion. For years terrorists have been in the United States either raising money, or training or even both. Certainly terrorists promote illegal immigration as a way not only to attack other countries with their distorted beliefs for world conquest for their god, but also attack America too.

What about poverty? No one can deny, it's one of the major reasons which motivates people to come to the America. And who can blame them? After all, their country is so poor with little opportunities to have any measure of success in life. Thus, people tend to want to cross the borders to come to the US to obtain great wealth beyond their wildest dreams of what they wouldn't have obtained in their own country. Sadly, they are used by their so-called 'church', and other groups which includes socialists and communists. What cannot look a the various forces behind illegal immigration without mentioning criminal activity. Criminals who sell drugs for example, make huge profits from their criminal actions by smuggling illegal drugs into the US by various means such as underground tunnels, or various transportation.

And lastly, media bias which is in step with the Vatican and all other forces or people who are in favor of illegal immigration. The liberal media in the United States and even some in other countries like the BBC have been on a re-education campaign to attempt to try and sway public opinion. In this media blitz, they use labels such as "undocumented immigrants" which in a way is misleading because many do use "documents" but it's used in a fraudulent manner or even stolen. However, there is some truth to this label. It does mean the government has no document of that person or persons who enter into the United States. So there is accurate count or estimate on how many are actually in the US from other countries who came here illegally. More than likely there are more illegals than what they are currently aware of.

Progress or Lack Thereof on Restricting Massive Illegal Immigration

Despite all the tough talk on illegal immigration since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, it's been reported that only 2 percent of those illegals captured are actually prosecuted. The rest of the illegals captured are safely returned to Mexico. The United States government has basically with the influence of the Vatican and other special interest groups have sold it's people out. On June 26, 2007 in Hazleton, Pa. A Judge ruled in a 206 page document that the "Illegal Immigration Relief Act" which punishes landlords and businesses who rent or are employing illegal immigrants by their respected business is not unconstitutional. This is not the first time a court has done this. It's a pattern of rulings by the courts around the country. So the courts want to give illegal immigrants the same rights as legal citizens in the United States. This is unheard of in any other country which would deny rights to those who cross their borders illegally...

Recently as of August 10, 2007, President Bush is trying make a push for his plan to raise the fines on employers who hire illegal immigrants as part of a broader plan said Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. Also a quicker deployment of an under staff boarder patrol. It's unknown as this time how much the fine will be for employers who break the law to hire illegals or how many more boarder patrol agents will be deployed more rapidly. This part of the plan has the farming industry worried and suggested it would put them out of business. About 75 percent of the farmer's workforce are illegals. More than one million. I believe it's around 2-5 million illegals in the farming workforce...Without no documentation it's hard to really tell how many are in the country so most estimates in the media are on the low side. The farming industry does have to worry more but if we look at the history of illegal immigration, the enforcement of laws are weak at best. The rest of the President's plan wants most of the illegals who are working to stay while sending back the head of household to their particular countries for about a year before returning again, and have to pay a 5,000 dollar fine over ten years.

In Conclusion

Before I conclude this news item lets make one thing clear...There is basically nothing wrong with legal immigration. America is a nation of immigrants who came here for a better life, adapted into the society well, and so on... In fact, the United States takes in more lawful immigrants than any other country in the world! But what we are seeing today on immigration is a emphasis on massive illegal immigration that should be considered as a war waged against the United States for religious, business, and political reasons.

British local radio Has Been Far Behind that in America

In America, local radio often are issued to very small communities sometimes best small. It is not the case in United Kingdom and areas tend to be much larger. I got to wonder why England never really developed in the same way.

Firstly, United Kingdom made wireless technology began in the 1920s as local radio with the first areas of Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham.muchas cities opened stations but in a very short time time closed, and the BBC was founded as a national broadcasting station airs from London.

In the 1960s Frank Gillard, who had been a well-known war correspondent, began a movement to get local radio in the airwaves in United Kingdom. Had been to the United States and was impressed with some of the ideas he had seen there even though that his vision was more to provide a topical local news and sport instead of music stations which were profligate there variety.

At the same time, partly due to technological advances, which allowed a wider range of frequencies that are available, there were a number of operating from ships off the coast of United Kingdom pirate radio stations. These were more local by its very nature, but the BBC looked them like a serious amenaza.A regret that there were a lot of the reluctance of the hierarchy of the BBC, BBC local radio began with radio Leicester on November 8, 1967.

It was not a full House at the station and the transmission of only a few hours each día.Muy sooner there was flooding in the city centre and the local radio station provides a service of tremendous in the maintenance of the locals to date with what was happening.

The British Broadcasting Corporation by name is a broadcaster and has always maintained values provide a wide range of topics to its listeners. In recent years have emerged a number if independent stations local radio (RIT).They have been much more down the road by.

Tend to offer a more specific range of programs for its audiencia.Esto can be in the area of sport, music, politics or whatever.

Very soon the number of stations will increase considerablemente.Radio digital has provided the opportunity to many stations más.Estoy insurance that the future will see many stations in each big city and deck numbers smaller rural areas in the Unido.Tal Kingdom time each team will have your local station, each the same Great Britain thus manera.De Orchestra will be closing the gap with the United States.

United States secret weapons: mind control and surpassed

"Because of its power and global interests U.S. leaders have committed crimes as a matter of course and structural necessity. A strict application of international law would ... have given every U.S. president of the past 50 years Nuremberg treatment." --Edward Herman

The United States ended World War II by using the most horrific weapon in the history of warfare--the atomic bomb--on the Japanese civilian population. This doomsday weapon had been developed in total secrecy as part of a massive research program employing a small army of world-class scientists. After the war, the United States scrambled through the rubble and chaos to determine what progress its enemies had made in their secret weapons development programs. It turned out that the Germans' atom bomb effort was primitive compared to the Manhattan Project. However, the Germans and the Japanese had made progress in other areas - and we were obsessed over finding out just how much.

Two of the "weapons'' we sought information on had nothing to do with the traditional field of battle, but their ramifications would be enormous. Using volumes of information gained from German and Japanese experiments conducted on concentration camp prisoners, POWs and entire civilian populations, the U.S. continued its enemies' research programs in mind control[i] and biological warfare.[ii] It even employed some of the war criminals that managed these programs as consultants at Fort Detrick[iii],[iv] for experiments using U.S. citizens and soldiers as guinea pigs.

The Manhattan Project infrastructure itself was employed in this regard.[v] Under this umbrella, the U.S. hoped to duplicate its success in creating devastating weapons by perfecting the mind-control technology developed by the Germans[vi] and the biological warfare technology developed and tested by the Japanese.

The postwar effort to develop novel weapons was substantially different, however, from that which produced a super-bomb capable of leveling an entire city. Instead of using physics and chemistry to harness the fundamental forces of nature, these new weapons would exploit the fields of psychology and biology to manipulate the fundamental processes required for mental[vii] and physical health in humans. By unlocking the keys to the brain and the body, the United States would be able to induce diseases at will for psychological or biological warfare. These weapons ultimately had the potential to be more devastating than the atom bomb since they could not only control both mental and physical health on an unprecedented scale but, more importantly, could be tested and used in complete secrecy.

To refine the weapons developed by its enemies in WWII, the Central Intelligence Agency launched an immense program of clandestine research and international experimentation on human subjects. By covertly leveraging the U.S. medical infrastructure, the CIA was able to orchestrate this experimentation under the pretense of legitimate research by doctors who often didn't realize the sinister ends to which their research would be used.[viii]

The initial mind-control research was conducted toward nominally noble ends--even if the means to achieve them were abominable. Like their counterparts in other fields, the nation's elite psychologists and psychiatrists attempted to create human diseases on-demand so that cures could be tested under laboratory conditions. For example, research geared toward selectively inducing hypnotic amnesia and drug-induced schizophrenic states would provide doctors with a way of testing theories on the causes of neurosis and mental illness. Medical research with biological agents had similarly stated goals. Human experiments with "anticancer viruses" such as West Nile Virus and with "cancer transplants" in subjects with impaired immune systems would allow scientists to test their theories of how the immune system controlled the growth of diseases. Such information would assist in manipulating the human immune system toward the development of cancer vaccines.

But of course these experiments toward inducing laboratory models of mental and physical diseases were not conducted purely for medical purposes. Much of this research was conducted for psychological and biological warfare applications, and even then under the pretext of developing defensive measures against enemy use of such technology. For example, learning how to destroy memory and manipulate personality through stress, drugs and hypnosis might allow researchers to counteract these processes and "inoculate" their men against enemy use of such techniques in hostile interrogations. (Ted Kaczynski, the "Unabomber," was the victim of exactly this type of research as a student at Harvard.) Likewise, knowledge of how immunity could be destroyed by chemicals and viruses to cause disease would provide clues critical to counteract these processes in the development of vaccines. Such vaccines would allow the government to inoculate its own troops against bioweapons used by national security threats.[ix]

Toward even more sinister ends, this research also provided an offensive capability. Supposedly defensive mind-control research[x] would give the CIA the ability to create agents and operatives who would carry out their assignments in the midst of danger without risk of their becoming security threats.[xi] Through mental conditioning and the creation of synthetic, multiple personalities, interrogation-proof double agents could be produced who would not only safely transfer information as human couriers (to a friendly hypnotist) but obediently commit acts such as assassinations that were contrary to their personal morality and safety. Agents with enhanced or selectively depleted memories could even be sent into the field to accomplish tasks they would have no conscious recollection of completing.[xii]

Work on vaccines had dual uses as well. By developing the technology to selectively deplete the immune system, researchers could develop an understanding of how immune system defects caused disease. This information could then be used to counteract such processes and selectively enhance the immune system in the form of vaccines.[xiii] But the ability to controllably destroy the immune system was in itself a biological weapon that could be used as part of an offensive capability.[xiv] And these offensive and defensive tools could be used synergistically. Defensive vaccines could be developed that would allow U.S. forces to be inoculated against offensive bioweapons to be used on enemy forces.[xv]

Theory is one thing, implementation quite another. Has the U.S. government, through its agencies, transformed "could" and "would" into "can" and "will"? Did it actually bring research in psychological and biological warfare to the next level? Years of study have convinced me that this has happened and is happening to this very day. Consider:

* The technology developed to control the immune system--selectively depleting immune cells with viruses in animal cancer-transplant experiments--was exploited to induce the epidemic of AIDS and cancer in humans. This latter epidemic is highly beneficial for fulfilling the goals of both the cancer vaccine research and national security establishments, the two fields that worked synergistically to create AIDS viruses grown in human cells just prior to the HIV epidemic. My book AIDS: The "Perfect" Disease explains how such biological warfare agents were not only created under the pretext of cancer research but unleashed under the pretext of an international cancer experiment.[xvi] In this way, the United States echoed the wartime international biological warfare exercises conducted by the Japanese researchers it recruited following WWII using immunosuppressive viruses it perfected through decades of cancer experiments in animals.[xvii]

* Nazi mind-control techniques were covertly perfected by U.S. intelligence agencies after decades of research on hundreds of victims,[xviii] ultimately yielding the ability to control the human mind to create "programmed" provocateurs, double agents and "involuntary assassins." According to declassified government documents published by the New York Times, such agents would carry out actions "even against such fundamental laws of nature as self-preservation." The most egregious crime from these creations was the programming of the assassin used to murder President John F. Kennedy. My book The Perfect Assassin shows how Lee Harvey Oswald's seemingly contradictory actions are eerily consistent with his being unwittingly manipulated through mind control by the CIA through the now legendary Cold War programs MKULTRA and COINTELPRO. The benefits of Oswald's actions to the CIA and the foreshadowing of his activities in CIA memos and statements of military hypnotists are revealed in my harmonizing study of the JFK murder.

* Mind-control experimentation is also an enabling technology to maintain a population of human guinea pigs for biological experimentation. The use of AIDS within this framework of experimentation is an extraordinary vehicle to continue the long-running eugenics program to create a master race overseen by American corporations in Nazi Germany. I believe much of U.S. policy is designed to quietly perpetuate this brutally destructive and elitist program. My book Hitler Is Winning describes the tragic legacy and current dangers of this ongoing effort quietly sponsored by history's deadliest and unpunished war criminals--including America's elite universities, corporate foundations and political and financial luminaries.

While discussion of mind control and biological warfare by our own government is disconcerting to many, and incredible to some, it is only through public awareness of these subjects that I believe national security planners can be held accountable and thus be prevented from their continued use. For those interested in exploring these subjects further, please read my works explaining the development and use of these weapons available at http://www.winstonsmith.net.

Forewarned is forearmed.

[i] Ironically, one of the American biowarfare experts sent into Germany on a fact-finding mission would later die under suspicious circumstances as a result of being an unwitting participant in a CIA mind-control drug experiment similar to those conducted by the Nazis he was tasked with interviewing. Frank Olson, a U.S. government anthrax expert, had been sent to Germany in 1951 with two other men as part of a CIA program to evaluate progress made in Nazi mind-control research. In this case it was the research overseen by "Nazi anthrax expert and SS Major General Dr. Walter P. Schreiber" during the war. As H.P. Albarelli Jr. reported, the U.S.team "traveled to Germany to interview Schreiber" and learn "all that it could about a Nazi SS project that employed 'psychochemical drugs' during concentration camp interrogation experiments." H.P. Albarelli Jr., "Feds' involvement in anthrax experiments: Records show conflicting reports about bacterium's use as weapon;" WorldNetDaily.com, 9/21/01, (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25406).

[ii] Americans also scrambled to get data from Japanese biological warfare experts such as Dr. Shiro Ishii, the head of Japan's biowarfare establishment. (This establishment, known as Unit 731, killed tens of thousands of civilians in field tests with biowarfare agents it developed in tests on prisoners of war.) Lt. Col. Arvo T. Thompson interviewed Ishii after his capture by American forces: "In Japan, Thompson interviewed Ishii, who had been captured by the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps. ...A top-secret U.S. Army Far East Command report on Thompson's findings reads: 'The value to the U.S. of Japanese biological weapons data is of such importance to national security as to far outweigh the value accruing from war-crimes prosecution.' A 1956 FBI memorandum reveals that by the mid-1950s the U.S. knew everything about Ishii's human experiments but agreed not to prosecute in exchange for Japan's scientific data on germ warfare." Like Frank Olson, Thompson later committed suicide: "In May 1951, scientists at Fort Detrick were shocked to learn that Thompson had 'committed suicide' while on another special assignment in Tokyo. The circumstances surrounding Thompson's death have never been publicly revealed. Two years later, Olson would also 'commit suicide' under circumstances so unusual that eventually he became an icon of American mysteries." H.P. Albarelli Jr., "Feds' involvement in anthrax experiments: Records show conflicting reports about bacterium's use as weapon;" WorldNetDaily.com, 9/21/01, (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25406).

[iii] War criminals from both enemy camps would be hired as consultants and brought to lecture at Fort Detrick, Maryland--the U.S. center for biological warfare development. According to Fort Detrick researchers, the chief Japanese biological warfare researcher (Ishii), along with other Japanese researchers, "was secreted into the United States to lecture at Camp Detrick.... on Unit 731's human experiments." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25406

[iv] "Remarkably, despite his being wanted for war crimes and strong suspicions that he was acting as a double agent for the Russians, [Nazi SS Major Walter P. Schreiber] was hired to work with the U.S. Army's Counter Intelligence Corps. On Oct. 7, 1951, the New York Times reported that Schreiber was in Texas working for the U.S. Air Force. After his employment contract with the Army and Air Force expired, the CIA blocked plans to send Schreiber back to Germany and in May 1952 helped arrange his relocation to Buenos Aires where he was employed as an expert on 'disease and epidemics' by the Argentine government. Some former Fort Detrick researchers who declined to be identified maintained that Schreiber, on at least two occasions, lectured at the Frederick, Md., facility. Others maintain that Schreiber was relocated to Argentina so he could help facilitate the flow to the United States of other fugitive Nazi scientists hiding there." H.P. Albarelli Jr., "The secret history of anthrax: Declassified documents show widespread experimentation in '40s," WorldNetDaily.com, 9/06/01, (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25220); H.P. Albarelli Jr., "Feds' involvement in anthrax experiments: Records show conflicting reports about bacterium's use as weapon;" WorldNetDaily.com, 9/21/01, (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25406).

[v] John Marks, The Search For The Manchurian Candidate (New York: W.W. Norton & Company, 1979), pp. 6-8.

[vi] Marks reports that the Nazis first conducted mind-control experiments with mescaline "to eliminate the will of the person examined." While the Nazis experimented on "Jews, gypsies, Russians and other groups on whose lives the Nazis place little or no value," American scientists using exactly the same techniques (for example, slipping the drug into a person's drink) with even more powerful chemicals would test these substances on the American public at-large. Like the Nazis, the Americans would also use drugs in combination with hypnosis for mind-control experiments. Marks, p. 4, 5.

[vii] Quoting CIA sources, the New York Times summarized the "25-year, $25-million effort by the Central Intelligence Agency to learn how to control the human mind." The CIA "sought to crack the mental defenses of enemy agents--to be able to program them and its own operatives to carry out any mission even against their will and 'against such fundamental laws of nature as self-preservation.'" Nicholas M. Horrock, "Private Institutions Used in CIA Effort to Control Behavior," New York Times, August 2, 1977.

[viii] This research was secretly financed and orchestrated through a network of CIA-controlled foundations.

[ix] There is a historical precedent for this scenario, which goes back to the very formation of the Republic. George Washington vaccinated his recruits against smallpox to protect them from suspected biological warfare attempts by the British. It is known that the British used such measures against Indian populations. According to an article on the PBS website: "During the French and Indian War in 1763 the British Commander-in-Chief Sir Jeffrey Amherst wrote to Colonel Henry Bouquet about the using smallpox against Indians: 'Could it not be contrived to send smallpox among these disaffected tribes of Indians? We must use every stratagem in our power to reduce them.'" The BBC reported the favorable response to the letter: "The colonel replied: 'I will try to inoculate the [Native American tribe] with some blankets that may fall in their hands, and take care not to get the disease myself.' Smallpox decimated the Native Americans, who had never been exposed to the disease before and had no immunity."

[x] John Marks described how offensive mind-control research was related to defensive research. According to Marks, the early mind-control researchers "quickly realized that the only way to build an effective defense against mind control was to understand its offensive possibilities. The line between offense and defense--if it ever existed--soon became so blurred as to be meaningless." John Marks, The Search For The Manchurian Candidate (New York: W.W. Norton & Company, 1979), p. 25.

[xi] As John Marks summarized: "Caught in the muck and frustration of ordinary spywork, operators hoped for a miracle tool. Faced with liars and deceivers, they longed for a truth drug. Surrounded by people who knew too much, they sought a way to create amnesia. They dreamed of finding means to make unwilling people carry out specific tasks, such as stealing documents, provoking a fight, killing someone or otherwise committing an antisocial act. ... Plagued by the unsureness, agency officials hoped to take the randomness--indeed, the free will--out of agent handling. ... Thus the impetus toward mind-control research came not only from the lure of science and the fantasies of science fiction, it also came from the art of the spy business." John Marks, The Search for the Manchurian Candidate (New York: W.W. Norton & Company, 1979), pp. 52, 53.

[xii] Mind-control technology could also be used to extract information from enemy agents or even turn them into unwitting double agents.

[xiii] This process was designed to induce immunoproficiency through creating immunodeficiency. See Why AIDS Was Invented, by the author.

[xiv] In addition to helping researchers understand how to increase the lethality of bioweapons, the ability to selectively deplete the immune system would allow the government to turn everyday diseases into biowarfare agents. Through the use of this technology, the U.S. could selectively destroy entire populations considered national security threats.

[xv] In the 1960s, the U.S. considered using smallpox as a bioweapon against the Vietnamese since U.S. soldiers were vaccinated against the disease while the Vietnamese were not. "A boomerang effect seemed unlikely, since American troops were routinely vaccinated against the contagious disease. And North Vietnamese troops appeared to be vulnerable. In some ways, the setting was ideal. Though Vietnam had experienced no smallpox outbreaks since 1959, the disease still lurked in neighboring countries, allowing an epidemic to be attributed to natural causes. In the argot of covert operations, the strike would be plausibly deniable, a key requirement." Judith Miller, Stephen Engelberg, William Broad, Germs, (New York: Simon & Schuster, 2002), pp. 60, 61, 74.

[xvi] This technology allowed planners to selectively deplete not only populations of immune system cells but entire populations in the Third World.

[xvii] In my book, I summarize the evidence that this biological warfare exercise was conducted under the pretext of administering vaccines, including the smallpox vaccine. Curiously, there is a historical precedent for the use of smallpox vaccination in a biological warfare exercise. According to a BBC article by Colette Flight: "It has been alleged that smallpox was also used as a weapon during the American Revolutionary War (1775-83). During the winter of 1775-76, American forces were attempting to free Quebec from British control. After capturing Montreal, it looked as if they might succeed. But in December 1775, the British fort commander reportedly had civilians immunized against the disease and then deliberately sent out to infect the American troops. A few weeks later a major smallpox epidemic broke out in the American ranks, affecting about half of the 10,000 soldiers. They retreated in chaos after burying their dead in mass graves."

[xviii] The Scotland Sunday Times reported the activities of an internationally respected Canadian doctor recruited by the CIA: "Doctor Ewan Cameron, who became one of the world's leading psychiatrists, developed techniques used by Nazi scientists to wipe out the existing personalities of people in his care." Under Cameron's "care," patients were kept on LSD for months at a time so they could be brainwashed. According to the Times, "Patients were woken from drug-induced stupors two or three times a day for multiple electric shocks. In a specially designed 'sleep room' ...Cameron placed a speaker under the patient's pillow and relayed negative messages for 16 hours a day." One of Cameron's victims was Gail Kastner, who after 50 years, has finally gotten her lawsuit appealed in the Canadian courts. According to the Times, "Kastner was a 19-year-old honors student suffering from mild depression when she first underwent 'treatment' in 1953. On returning home she sucked her thumb, demanded to be fed from a bottle, talked in a baby voice and urinated on the floor." This court case opens the possibility of compensation for hundreds of more victims. "Brainwash victims win cash claims," Karin Goodwin, The Sunday Times, Scotland October 17, 2004.

In his personal research he has analyzed the extensive though hidden role American corporations played not only in creating Nazi Germany but in recruiting Nazi war criminals following the war. Jerry documents how this resulted in the continuation of the unethical human experimentation conducted in Nazi concentration camps--including mind control research, which he proposes ultimately led to the assassination of JFK, and vaccine research, which he proposes led to AIDS and the continuation of Hitler's eugenic mission. http://www.winstonsmith.net

Which means a new Pit Bull in the White House to America with the 2008 elections

Pit bulls are a race of terrier historically used in the fight against the dog and the bear - and Toro-hostigamiento banned in England since the 19th century, according to Wikipedia. With or without bar lips so vividly capture a picture of a mother in United States's Republican Convention, pit bulls hockey was banned today in the major cities of Canada. They are obliged to be neutralized in France under certain conditions, and are forbidden in United Kingdom 1991 dangerous dogs Act. The United States, classified in the "bully breed" dogs.

A Republican pit bull has occupied the White House during the last eight years. At that time, America has been savagely attacked. The country has lost its credibility and its former high standing in the estimation of the world. Now, their economic situation could say that is the worst since the great depression of 1930.Desempleo reached a record 6 percent just two months before the presidential elections.

The main media show very little worldwide Americans beyond calamidades.Esa biased view of reality world shows America a nobleman from the image of themselves as a beacon to a world of greedy wannabes, upstart who want to harm America due to jealousy over blessings such as the freedom and opportunity. They are unwanted stealing jobs from Americans working to enrich families illegal immigrants back home in foreign lands, often even enemies and rivals United States.

Theft of subcontracting and the work of labour are just two button hot terms, in the 2008 presidential campaign United States. They are unconscious biases triggers, xenophobia, radical nationalism and the bending of the military muscle. But it is possible that the mentality of Bull Dog Yes can be counterproductive to the very objectives of social and economic welfare that the country is trying to recover.

Information about the world is only Google News far to throughout the Americas with a team of today. That investment of time and energy is offset by revealing that perceived as less threatening, hostile and alien world. Even a casual glance at the world today through the Google News or BBC website shows that the world is a global dealing with problems not very different from the United States neighborhood. Also shows that their impact in America and its citizens pay prices gas problems.

A small example is the African country of Eritrea, established by global decision after World War II, as well as Israel powers.Eritrea is involved in territorial conflict with its parent Ethiopia country. The small country of Djibouti is trapped between ellos.Las bets in this geopolitically explosive controversy go beyond matters of national, regional and ideological differences and interests. Come down to dollars and cents issue of who controls the small canal which is the main route for oil tankers in the Middle East to Europe.

Similar pragmatic issues are at stake in the conflict between the former Republic of Georgia and present Rusia.Sí entity, national pride and power show play a role. But bread and butter issues are the basic concern for 200 countries worldwide.

The attack of September 11 in the United States introduced the term "jihad" Americans as holy war meaning, much as Europa.En medieval Crusades were his first interview a week after nomination vice chair of the United States candidate Palin repeats its view that the United States on a mission from God in his war on Iraq.

With the 2008 presidential election, United States has an opportunity to make peace with the world in order to create jobs for its citizens, free trade and assume his role as natural leadership in the world.Judging by its Constitution and its cultural traditions, United States is a nation of constructors, not destructive.

On the other hand, dog, pit bulls pen are prohibited by Nations civilizadas.Poniendo labial in pit bulls will not change their natures.

Be proud of emulating a pit bull can be fun, but it is also preocupante.Poner a pit bull a heartbeat of great United States presidency is alarming.
